Childsupport

My husband is in Colorado starting a new job. he was out of work for a month and got behind on childsuppport with his ex. They are suspending his liscense, taking all his money for her. Meanwhile I have two children here who are barely getting by because his ex is taking all of it. I'm on medicaid, and living with my inlaws. I don't know what to do anymore.

Re: Childsupport

You can speak with a Florida lawyer to see if the child support amount your husband pays is correct according to guidelines. If it's too much, he should have it adjusted. If the amount is correct, your husband needs to do what he can to get the arrearage below $2500 so his driver's license can be restored.

It may be difficult, but he has to pay his fair share for his children, and that bill comes first.
