My daughter has left her husband while their 16 month old baby was at another grandparent. She wants to go get her daughter but he is telling her no. It's only been about 3 days. Can he do that? Will the cops in his town not allow get to get her if she goes there?

The husband has equal rights to the child so unlikely they will do anything, she needs to get a court order and file her case for custody asap.
