Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Deposition - Atty and Husband Did Not Appear

I'm going through a divorce and DV case. My husbands atty requested a video deposition. My atty then requested the same of my husband. On the date of the depos, my husband and his attorney did not show for their depo time. !!?!?! However, HIS atty showed up for my depo which was 1 hour later than my husbands. Tomorrow is our child support hearing and we've gotten no cooperation so far. THey have also provided none of the RFP items. What can I expect next? Will they be reprimanded or anything for blowing off our requested depo?

Re: Deposition - Atty and Husband Did Not Appear

Yes, they can be reprimanded and ordered to pay your attorney's fees. Also, your hearing could be continued (if that's what you wanted) to allow more time to complete your discovery.
