Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have been Diagnosed with Epilepsy

I have been Diagnosed with Epilepsy and have been told I can't work. due to the seizures being so bad. I have not worked since April and the ex is coming after more child support. I was told from the ss that i would be getting about $900.00 a month. I had only mad about $5.700 last year and about the same this year due to the epilepsy. And the attorney is telling me he will get more than is was paying before. which was $177.27 I was a stay at home parent and this was brought down so I could get on my feet. since then I have remarried. This attorney is tring to tell me he will go after my new partners income is this posiable? and how much would he get of my ss @$900.00 a month?

Your new partner's income has no relevance to calculating your child support, and it can't be attached or garnished for your child support.

I'm not able to tell you how much child support you'll pay on $900 because you haven't supplied enough information, such as how much your ex makes. However, there are some decent online Florida child support calculators that might help you figure out your child support.
