Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Divorce - Court Orders

I am in the process of a divorce & my husband does not live with me or our daughter. My husband says he can file a court order against someone to not be in my house or near my daughter just because he can. There is no violence or threat to me or my daughter. He is a family friend. Can he do this & how do I stop it? Thank You.

He can try, but he'll lose. As long as the person poses no harm to your daughter, your new boyfriend (who are we kidding here?) can be around your daughter. However, having the person spend the night could hurt your chances of getting custody.
