My husband has filled for divorce after 14 years in Florida. However I have not been served papers ( it has been 30
day filling date is May 10th) What legal obligations do I have?

Until you are served, none. When served, your attorney will have 20 days to answer and seek whatever relief you are entitled to.

Are you also in the state of Florida? If not, he may need to file in your state since Florida has not jurisidiction over you unless you consent. Secondly, if you are, you have 20 days to respond. You may be entitled to alimony based on the 14 years of marriage . If you are in the Duval area, contact my office for an appointment.
