My husband just moved out of my house. He is going to force me to sell my house so that he will get half the money. I bought my house before I met him. The mortgage is paid off and the house is solely in my name. Can he do this? This is after 18 years of marriage.

So long as it was and still is in your name, it is a non-marital asset. The only thing he can claim is one half of the enhancement in value during the marriage, if any.
