My husband wants to petition for adopting my children and the bio father lives in Texas. How do we go about terminating his rights? Through Florida or Texas? Is there a form I can send the biological father to fill out? Thanks for your time.

Sure, this is something we do all of the time. So long as the biological father will agree, it should be a smooth process. You need to file a petition to terminate parental rights and for step parent adoption. I suggest you contact an attorney to take you through the process.
