Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

judgement

I was divorced in 1992. My ex husband had property that belonged to me. A judgement was issued and has been updated for the past 10 years. I want to act on it now. He works on the railroad and the pay master says I just need to send the judgement to him and he will garnish his wages. What I have has not been signed by a judge but is a legal document from the court and is notorized.

Thanks for any help Carmen

Re: judgement

Contact the Clerk of Courts in the county where the case was adjudicated. Request a certified copy of the Final Judgment or other order issued by the court which describes your rights to the property. Send the certified copy to the paymaster.
