legal separation

what is needed to be legally separated. my wife moved out and changed her forwarding address with the post office.

There is no such thing as a court legal separation in Florida Law. The parties can work this out be written agreement.

"Legally separated" means that a judge has ordered one party to pay alimony and/or child support to the other pursuant to a lawsuit for separation and no divorce is pending.
