I'm living seperated from my spouse for 2 1/2 years. We did not have a prenup. I'm now starting a business with a business partner. Do I need to get a divorce first so my spouse is not entitled to half?

To be safe, it would be best to get a divorce ASAP. Call me at 813-712-9121, and I can give you a better idea of how to protect the business and move through your divorce more quickly. Otherwise, yes, it's very possible that your spouse would be entitled to half of your portion of the business.
