Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Paternity matter

Im marrying a man in the Navy who is stationed out in CA. The jurisdiction of my paternity case is in Broward Co. Fla. In 2004 I moved to Oh. w/ permission from my sons father. When I get married I want to take my son to Ca. w/ me. There is nothing in our agreement that states I cannot move. Is there anything my sons father can do to prevent me from moving out of OH?

Re: Paternity matter

He can oppose the move on the basis that it is not in the best interest of the child. If he was willing to have his child live as far away from him as Ohio, why not then California?
