Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Pluries Summons

I went to court a month ago and finelly I'm now receiving Child Support, But Child Support had a old case still open from Feb.of 08 and now my soon to be ex-husband said I'm trying to get his money for two differant cases! Please I was lucky to get $50 dollars a week from him during Mediation! So I looked up the old case and saw that their was a Pluries Case Filed last week, And I'm not sure why or what that means. Can you define Plurie summons to me and who would of filed that and why??? Thank You!

Re: Pluries Summons

That is the summons that has been issued at least 3 times. A summons is what one party has delivered to the other to put them on notice of the action. The first one issued is a summons, the second an alias summons, the third and any after that is a pluris summons.
