Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Restraining orders

My question involves restraining orders in the State of: Florida.

I am a 17 year old male who has been dating a 14 year old female for 6 months. Her mother has recently descided that she no longer likes me and is preventing her daughter from seeing me for no probable cause what-so-ever, she merely ''doesn't like me''. I am turning 18 on July 24th, and she will be turning 15 on June 5th. My question is...

If the daugter were to leave home without parental consent for no more than a few hours every week-end, would it be legal for the mother to place an RO on her daughter preventing me from associating with her ?

Re: Restraining orders

The first question is why is a 14 year old dating a 14 year old. The appearance of this situation alone raises issues on how law enforcement will review the situation.

iF YOU ENCOURAGE THE 14 YEAR OLD MINOR TO LEAVE HOME-EVEN FOR A FEW HOURS A WEEK, you could be seen as contributing to the delinquency of a monor-which might be the least of your problems.

I suggest you rethink your relationship based upon the legal view taken when an eighteen year olf interferes with a fifteen year old minor
