If you can get his threats documented (in writing),he would be guilty of the felony of extortion. Ask him to prepare a list of the items he claims or some ruse to receive a writing from him.

Re: Broken Engagement,Threats & Thousands of MY belongings missing

The engagement ring was a gift made in anticipation of marriage. Florida law allows for recovery of the engagement ring only if the recipient of the ring is the one who terminates the engagement. If your ex-fiance terminated the engagement, he has no legal right to the engagement ring.

If the video was made with your consent, but only for the personal use of you and your ex-fiance with no intention of it being distributed or marketed, then his distribution of the video may constitute an actionable invasion of your privacy. It may be possible to obtain an injunction from the court that would prohibit him from distributing the video. His threat to distribute the video unless you give him what he wants may also constitute a crime known as extortion. You should consult an attorney immediately. The attorney can also advise you concerning the recovery of your valuable personal belongings or their monetary equivalent.
