Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I am being taken to court for breaking my lease, I found somewhere cheaper to live. I have been renting from this company for over 6 years now, and as my rent increases my neighbor who lives in the same building is paying over $100 less than I am. We live in townhome apartments, everything is the same. After asking if my rent can get reduce and being told several times no, I was ready to move. I have 3 months left on my lease so I know I owe those three months. I am currently unemployed and a single mother of 4, so I cant pay all at once either. Do you have any advice for when I go to court? Thanks

You dont have a defense that the other apartment was paying less than you. It sounds like you breached your lease and the remedies within the lease would be available. You should have sought some advice before you broke the lease. I would suggest you seek some now anyway to determine what rights you have left.
