can I file civil suit for emotional damage as well as physical?
I was in a 2yr relationship w ex b/f he choked me 1 night,went 2 jail,however,the state dropped chrgs as I was in other state,had a parent passing away and could not attend court,its been a year,can I file new chrgs or do anything for the year of him bothering me,emotionally and physically?
