Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Florida partition action

If I file a partition action regarding a Florida property, can I purchase it at the court house sale for myself? Is it true that past cases have held that if one of the owners purchases the property at the court house sale then he has purchased for all owners and you end up in the same situation that you are in now.

Re: Florida partition action

There are not enough facts to answer your question.

A partition action does not result in the property being sold at the court house steps. A partition results in the property being divided among the owners.
