Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I had lobster tags up for sale,, and someone I knew offered to pay me more and the amount I wanted if I allowed him to put the tags in his name right away. I did, we did do a contract. The contract was made out by his mother. He has not paid me a dime and will not answer my phone calls. I also found out he was just recently trying to do the same thing with another person. I worked two serving jobs do get my lobster tags and now I am left with nothing. I was suppose to make 50 percent of everything he caught. I know several people who have told me they are doing great this year. He lied and said he caught nothing.

You can sue him for a variety of causes of action, including breach of contract. You can also potentially get an injunction to prevent him from using your tags until he pays you.

I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you. Please give me a call if you would like to discuss this further at 813-374-2216 or e-mail me at [email protected].

Good luck.
