Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

If you are renting one side of a duplex and decide you want to rent the other side out for an office. Move to the office side and let and employee move in on the original side with no legal documents signed and you are paying the rent for both sides. Now lease is up on the original side and want the employee to move out. What can you legally do to get them out and does the employee have any rights since you verbally promised her you would not move her out.

What a mess. You promised her that you would not move her out. But the landlord has no contract with her and she is basically sub-letting from you without paying rent because you pay the rent for both sides. It's not you that wants her to move, or is it? You may be setting yourself up for trouble. The lease on the first side is up, so do not renew it.
