Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I sold my car to a women and am taking payments. every month she is late she was due at the first of feb and i still have not got a payment of any contact. i think she took of with the car. what are my rights? the car and registration are still in my name. please help i am still paying for the car and am not getting payment orthe car. she also owes me $450 in late fees. she has been late every month since she got the car. we had a contact and she is not up holding to her end. please let me know what i can do. 352-556-6647

First, start with your agreement. What does it say about rights of repossession, collection, fees, and costs? You are now a creditor with all the rights of a creditor. You can sue her for the balance, can repo the vehicle possibly and still go after the remainder of the debt if the car sold at auction, etc. Small claims court is up to $5K, county court up to $15K, and circuit court $15K and over.
