trespassing

i'am a taxi driver, a police officer trespassed me from a mall after the security guard called him.The officer did not have me sign any kind of papaerwork, he only took my driver license and told me i was trespassed for 12 months and if i dont move he will arrest me.

was the trespassing legal (i did not sign anything and he did not give me any paperwork) ?

please help me , i need to know if i can go back to the mall without any risk or no.

Sounds legal. He took your name as his proof that he has given you the verbal warning required. If you return then you will be tresspassing and subject to arrest.
