Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

My girlfriend is Dominican. I am a US citizen and citizen of Florida. We wish to marry and live in Florida. How do we proceed? Is it better to marry here or there? How do we get her here?

There are a couple of options, including the Fiance or spousal visa.

You can get married here or there, each route has various pros and cons.

You may want to discuss your case with an immigration attorney.

My office does free initial consultations.

As Mr. Musil has noted, you will have a few options. Ideally the two of you can set a consultation together, and discuss what will work best for you. If she is either now in the US, or has been in the US in the past, you will want to have her immigration history at the time of the consultation.
