Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

Just had my I-485 initial interview.The officer was very courteous .After the interview he gave me a form which I signed together with my wife.The form stated section 216 notice.And it states pursuant to section 216 of the immigration and nationality act,the status you will be granted upon the approval of your application for permanent residence will be conditional for two years as of the date of approval.Please my passport was not stamped ,but my I-94 was taken.Please w what does it mean? Help somebody

It means that when you receive your green card (probably in 3-6 weeks), it will be cotonditional (valid for 2 years). You will need to apply to remove conditions in about 2 years from now.
