Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

I want to marry a woman that lives in the Ukraine. She was my Au Pair for over a year and a half. She returned to her country in April and we found that we want to marry now. I visited her in July and discussed arranging particulars of getting married. I returned to the US and found it is not easy as I thought. I just mailed the I-129F and a couple of other documents today for the K1 visa.

My question is what is needed to have her visit me on a touristic visa and is this possible to accomplish without ruffling the feathers of Homeland Security?

Thanks Joe

Since you have already filed the Fiancee visa petition, she will have to wait until it's approved and a Fiancee visa K-1 issued to her. She will not be able to come on a Tourist visa -- as her intent is not to visit, but to marry and remain in USA permanently.

I speak Russian, and had a big number clients from Ukraine - many in somewhat similar situation.
