Auto Accident

Last year I had an auto acccident, my truck was totaled. I had put a down paymet of $1500.00. The accident wasn't my fault. I have not been put back were I was financialy before the accident. Now I'm $3000.00 in the hole. what should I do?

Either see a lawyer (who, if your damages really are only 3000, probably will not be able to handle the case economically) or, go to the court house and get the forms to file a small claims action on your own. It is not at all difficult to do.

What kind of insurance is available to pay for damages. If there is no insurance, you will have to pursue the at-fault party individually.

I take case in which there is no Bodily Injury Coverage or Uninsured Mortorist in most counties. In addition, if you were offered any money to resolve the accident, most lawyers will only charge a fee for any amount recovered OVER the money you were offered.
