Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

i and four of my fellow drivers were recently fired from our jobs for very minor/accidental log book violations. all of us are over 55, and the company declared its policy earlier this year to replace all existing drivers with owner/operators. the company has since published on my DAC report that i was terminated and it has kept me from getting a new job. i was specifically told that the only reason the last company wouldnt hire me was because of the termination on the DAC.

What can I do?

If it was a valid termination, which seems to be the case, nothing. You suggest that it was actually an age decision and that the reason was pretextual. That is very hard to prove, but if the 35 year olds don't get fired then you may have an age disrimination case.
