can a job deduct money from your pay check because you smoke? they are going to deduct 25 dollars per pay check from my husband because he's a smoker. the non smokers do not pay anything. how is it fair that my husband can't smoke on his own time?

Smokers take more breaks (I know, I smoke). They may deduct time for his smoke breaks -- whether he has to clock out or whether there is a flat deduction. If it's truly unfair, hire an attorney and sue.
