Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Pay Owed

About a month ago, I quit my job. Paychecks were supposed to be in the following Friday. On that Friday I called them to see if the checks had come in. They had not. Since that time I have called them daily and recieved the same answer. Apparantly the paychecks have still not come in and no one has been payed. For some reason that just doesn't sound right to me. Today, which is 3 fridays from when I was supposed to payed, they told me that checks should be in sometime next week. My question is whether there is a law stating how long they have before they pay me. I know that it's illegal for them to hold my pay, and it seems to me that's what is going on. Thank you.

Re: Pay Owed

All paychecks under the FLSA must be delivered on the company scheduled pay date.
