Vacation Pay

I was recently terminated from my employment. I had 6 vactions days accumulated. Am I entitled to receive payment for these days that I did not use during my employment?

Florida law does not require payment of vacation time upon termination. However, if your employer has a written handbook that sets forth a policy explaining that vacation will be so paid, you may be able to convince them to pay.
