breaking a lease

i have 3 1/2 months left on my lease and we found out that our apartment has mold in it thats has been making my family sick. Can I break my lease and not be penalized for it

Not legally, unless you have medical proof or proof from a mold inspection company. I wouls also call Code Enforcement.
