Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Evition

I was served an evition notice on 5/20/09. They only gave me a week to move out and they are due to come out 5/29/09. I filed an answer 5/27/09 but I won't hear fro the judge until 5/29/09 which is when they are coming back out to change the locks. I want to know even with the answer I filed, whether the answer is yes or no, will they still come 5/29/09 to changed the locks? I don't want that to happen because I want to get my funiture and clothes out of the apartment. Can you please tell me so I can understand what's going on.

Re: Evition

They have no legal right to do that without a court order.

Re: Evition

If this is just a notice from the landlord, that is insufficient to kick you out or change the locks. Only an order or judgment from the cout could do that. Your answer would prevent that without an additional hearing or trial.
