Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Lets say a three hour (police shooting involved) stand-off occurred in an apartment building and the suspect had gotten in because the front car gate is always broken and open and even with a second building access code, half of the building entrance doors don't have the lock systems on them could the apartment management be sued by the tenants?

Management can always be sued. The real question is would the Tenants prevail. Unfortunately, too much information is missing for us to make a reasonable prediction. Even at that, it would ultimately be up to a Court to decide the matter.
