lease agreement
Hi, my boyfriend and I broke up, he asked me to leave the apartment, I agreed to do that, but now after I left(2 months) he is telling me that he needs half of the rent, as my signature appears on the lease agreement...I don't know what to do, I have to pay my own rent now and I am afraid if I don't pay him, he can sue me..I will appreciate if you can put me in the right direction....Sincerely Yuria

While you may not be responsible to him, since he asked you to leave, you are still responsible to the landlord.
