Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I am looking for legal help for commercial tenant lease issues, I have a couple questions I need advice on ASAP.

Our CAM bill just went up drastically and I just received the first bill with the new CAM charges. Since I want to try and dispute this I am not sure if I should still pay the bill in full so I do not get stuck with any fees for not paying on time or do I just pay our normal rent / Cam bill and put on the check “in dispute”.

Also should I send a response letter to the property management’s letter summarizing the new cam amount saying something to the effect of

“This is in response to your letter on March 31, 2016.

We are notifying you per our legal counsel, we dispute and object to the reconciliation CAM charges”.

Would doing these two steps, help protect us better and avoid unnecessary fees

Advise the agent why you are disputing the charges. Pay the full amount into the court.
