Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Florida

auto auction car purchase

I purchased my car from online auto auction from the state of Florida. Two months has passed and after several calls to seller I have not recieved my title or papers on this car. There is not a lien on this car we sent a bank draft for total amount. What options do I have?

Re: auto auction car purchase

what response are you getting? You mean that you sent good funds without getting the car? That sounds very suspicious and you may have been "taken." If so, you may have a law enforcement issue. Since this is interstate probably you'll need to contact the postal inspector and the FBI as well as the sherrif if Florida for the county where the seller is. You need to contafct the seller immediately and get in touch with him or her and get some answers. Why haven't you just gone to pick up the car? Who was going to get the car? you may need to hire someone to go and physically see the seller with all the paperwork (assuming you have address information -- which i sure hope you do!). good luck.
