Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

Dr refused to treat

I am a heart patient and had a reg. appt. with my reg Dr when I got there I did an insurance info change. I was taken in and my PB was taken first at 202/200 next onewas 200/198, Dr was told and told the nurses not to worry about it. I sat for ove an hour when another nurse came and told me they couldn't see me due to insurance change. I was told to leave. Dr. did nothing even knowing I was a heart patient and my PB was as high as it was. Is thier anything I can do? Patient indangerment????ANYTHING.

Re: Dr refused to treat

Nope. NOthing to do. Doesn't sound like you were hurt. I assume that you found a different doctor. Simply because you "might have been hurt" or were "endangered" does not give you grounds to bring a claim when, in fact, you were not hurt.

Without injury, there is no med mal claim. You can still a complaint using this site for medical negligence cases.
