Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

Medical Malpractice

My mother had hip replacement surgery and pre-op, her legs were the same length. Post-op her leg is now 1 1/2 to 2 inches longer. Based on my research up to about 1/2 inch is an acceptable level of change. It is making her recovery difficult and is causing her back pain. Would this be grounds for a lawsuit?

Re: Medical Malpractice

Perhaps, but there is not information to know the reason for the shortened leg and whether it was the result of negligence as opposed to just a bad outcome.
