Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

My sister gave me general POA, including notation that she wants me to be able to discuss anything about a Medmal case in central Florida. She provided copies of POA to her attorney, who refuses to discuss anything with me. Can they do this?

Ask the attorney why he or she refuses to speak to you. Manybe there is something wrong with the POA or it was revoked.
