Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

injury in elementary school

My daughter brooke her ankle during field day at her school. I was not satisfied with the organization of the activities. My daughter was forced to run after a ball. Her team was loosing, the students and parents were yieling at her; telling her to hurry up and run faster so she did and broke her ankle while trying to sit quickly for her team to win. What really upset me was the teachers' callous attitude towards my daughter because they thaught she was just embarrased for making her team loose. Is the school liable for her injury? Do I have a lawsuit? She is been in pain for both feeling responsible for her team loost and for breaking her ankle. Thank you.

Re: injury in elementary school

From the limited facts given I see no liability on the school. Unless she had some known physical impairment or she required special training, merely having her participate

is not actionable.
