Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

No insurace accident

I was involved in an auto accident in which I was rear ended 3 days ago. I have an emergency room bill and am following up with my dr. I only have state required insurance and the other party does not have insurance. Are there any lawyers that pursue drivers withtout insurance even though i do not have major injuries?

Re: No insurace accident

If the driver who hit you has assets, it might be worth pursuing. If the other driver was operating a car owned by someone else, then there is a potential claim agains the owner too. We would be happy to speak with you about the case.

Unless you have a "serious injury"

you would not be entitled to be compensated for paid and suffering.

Very, very, very few lawyers will pursue this if neither the driver nor the owner has any insurance, but it is possible -- so keep looking. If you are not seriously injured, you can always handle it yourself -- but try to find a lawyer first before heading down that road.
