mechanic lien

what happens when a mechanic's lien is filed on your property. I am a senior citizen living in florida and feel I have been over charged on work done.

The process is explained in chapter 713 Florida Statutes -- which can be accessed from myflorida . com but can be quite complicated. there are strict time limits and deadlines, so do not delay contacting an attorney. It will not go away by itself.
