Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

i had a fall at work on 12/26/06.i have been going to the work comp. doctor since then.i will have to have shoulder surgery on may 1. i am not recieving money from work comp because the dotor never stopped me from working.even though i am in pain.what are my legal rights.i have no idea how my arm will be after the surgery.i am a 60 year olf female.
