Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I am in the middle of recovering from an accident,I was told by my lawyer that if I make a full and complete recovery that I am not intitled to any money for pain and suffering,Every time I call I am talking with the paralegal.I f there is no settlement how does he make any money,and how do I pay the remainder of my bills.I can not get the info that I need from my lawyer.

Your lawyer is correct. Listen to his advice and do what he tells you to do. If there is no settlement then he doesnt make any money. Its your lawyers job and his business on how he supports himself and he does not have to divulge to you how he makes money, only the contract he has with you. After all he was in business before you got into your accident. Pain and suffering are distinctly different from your medical bills. Your lawyer didnt tell you there wouldnt be a settlement (at least from what you wrote above). I'm sure he will work out bills in the end. You are way ahead of where you are supposed to be. Your lawyer will be able to answer questions more accuratly AFTER you are done with your recovery.
