It is impossible to say whether or not you have a case simply because you fell. Although the restaurant may have been negligent, the question of whether or not you have a case depends on several factors including how serious was the injury? Did you go to a hospital? Were you treated and released or were you admitted? If you only got a bump on the head and some bruises, there is probably little or no value. On the other hand, if you sustained serious and/or permanent injuries, then you probably have a decent case. The other question is whether or not the restaurant has insurance or "deep pockets" in order to pay a claim if one is filed. All factors have to be weighed to determine the viability of your matter. You should consult with a personal injury attorney to discuss the facts and injury/ies sustained.
