Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

my son was in a fender bender, in my wife's car. at the time the other party refused any medical asst, since no one was hurt. later the police report declared my son was at fault . i had insurance full coverage to the car, but my insurance company told me to hire an attorney. one year later a 10,000 bill came to my house , a collection agency trying to collect, threatening of suspending registrations, licenses.up to what point can they seek payment .we have not denied payments , but $10.00 to $20.00 monthly is what we can afford

The bill to your house is confusing. Is it for property damages in excess of policy coverage? You need to clarify what has happened. Best to seek some legal help with your papers. Did the insurance company settle the underlying claim? Did the other person reserve his rights to sue you personally? Did you get sued? Etc. etc.
