Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Today is July 16, 2010. On july 3, 2010, I slipped and fell at a supermarket because of a wet area caused by a leaking beverage vending machine. The wet area did not have any warning placards. I now have leg, hip, back, and head pain. Unfortunately, I do not have health insurance and absolutely can not afford to visit a doctor or to go for the necessary tests. I surely thought that the store would have been responsible to pay for all of this. However, they claim that the beverage vending machine company is solely responsible. Indeed, the vending maching company would have some responsibility, however, the store is also very responsible for ensuring that their floor is safe. Thus far, the vending machine company has not contacted me. What can I do? I need to see a doctor immediately and get the necessary testing.......both for my well-being and to determine the extent of the injuries that I suffered from the fall.

If you are injured you need to seek medical help regardless of your ability to pay the hospital will treat you. Second, you need to hire an attorney to assist you. The supermarket and the vendor may share responsibility and more information is needed to see what can be done for you. Call my office to discuss further. 727-797-9600
