Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

breaking contract to purchase, new construction

we signed a contract to purchase a new home in Florida and sent a down payment. The builder has not returned the signed cotract to us yet, but has cashed the check. We have changed our minds and want to get out. It has been 10 days since they recieved the signed contracts in the mail from us. There is no attorney review clause. Is the contact considered fully executed if we do not have a copy delivered to us with the builders signature?

No, but I suggest you read your copy of the contract. Did it include a time limitation?
