I owned a home on my own before I married, now we are seperating and/or divorcing. Is my spouse entitled to any part of my home or have any rights to it?

Florida courts are courts of equity. Whether your spouse is entitled to any part of the house will depend on the length of the marriage, improvements made to the home since the marriage and any monies paid by your spouse to benefit the home, as well as the financial ability of your spouse to find a new home. These are very emotional and costly issues, it is highly advised you seek a local attorney to guide you through this process.
