Family member wants to back out of deal, is this legal?

My brother and I inherited a house. We are selling it and the deal is almost done. We are just waiting for an order signed by the judge. We have signed a binding contract, the buyer's bank has got the money ready, and we have done everything as far as the seller is concerned. My brother now wants to back out of the deal, I do not. I am afraid that we will get sued if he backs out this late. Please help me. Thank you.

Unless there is a defense to the contract you and your brother are subject to a breach of contract lawsuit. The purchaser may sue for money damages or specific performance. You will need an attorney to protect you. You may call me at 561 998 9401
